Facebook, Stop Abusing Our Privacy, Please

Facebook is kool, but it's such a privacy abuser -_-

So a week ago when I was browsing some news I found that the Harvard Boi who established Facebook, Mark Z..uttenberg (?), was going to launch a new feature that can filter your newsfeed. Super very glad to hear that! :D So it means we can filter who can/cannot see our updates, right? Hihi. couldn't wait any longer since I knew the promising feature was planned to come in a week! Yeah yeah yeahs.

Few minutes ago I checked my FB and, voilaa.

It has new homepage look! Aaah the streaming thing, you are finally launched. I took a glance at some status saying WTFs to this change, (Apa-apaan nih?!? Baru ditinggal brp hr udah kyk gini!!) hi hi, wait until they see how kool this feature is. I explored it and read a line (sort of) sounded .. "You can hide your friends from your news feed." So now it has a delete icon in a corner of every update column. Hmmm oke oke, standar sik.

I explored it more and read another announcement," This box is called Publisher. No matter where you use the Publisher, your posts will appear here and in your friends' streams, provided they can see the post."

Haaaah gila lo.
Nyebelin abis ga boong. Skala nyebelinnya kayak waktu dulu lagi pada nanya Pak Kimia.

And this new feature doesn't allow us to filter who can see our updates either -_- Syitto. I have friends, relatives und (so-called) co workers in my friendlist. Meaniiiing.. some updates are proper to share with some of them and the others could end up as spam to them. Yes I know about the privacy setting. But it's about this streaming which put stories in real times.

Anywaays I just found out that Facebook provides a story-o-meter where we can set which kind of story we want to get the most (relationship, photos, notes, etc). We can also stalk people (or being stalked) by writing their names so their infos will be streamed to us more often. Without notification. Without approval. Gile ya lama-lama jadi stalkbooth.com aja :s

Frenster sucks but it respects our privacy.
Facebook is koool but it broadcasts our privacy. Howevers with the other genius applications, Facebook still win the match zzz -_-
